What amazing creatures to learn from and watch! These little guys are a lot more interesting than one might think!

A LITTLE ABOUT ALLIGATOR SNAPPING TURTLES	SPIKE Spike is one of our newest friends here at Houston. He was found near Joe Pool Lake wondering around all alone!! We are happy he has joined our family!
A LITTLE ABOUT WOOD FROGS	WOODY A student brought us our frog friend. We named him Woody. Woody lives in the tank with Buzz, our red-sided water turtle. He needs the same things that Buzz needs. He needs to be near water and plants. He and Buzz eat the same pellet food that we buy at the pet store.
A LITTLE ABOUT OUR RUSSIAN TURTLES	RICKY AND LUCY We purchased two Russian tortoises from Heath Scientific with our profits from the Science Bizarre this past school year. Their names are Ricky and Lucy. We love watching them eat and slowly walk around their large swimming pool full of soil.
A LITTLE ABOUT RED SIDED WATER TURTLES	BUZZ A red sided water turtle was brought to us from some golfers on a golf course. His name is Buzz and he lives in a tank in our Science Lab. He hides underneath leaves and is growing slowly to adulthood.
A LITTLE ABOUT BOX TURTLES	THOMAS Thomas, our box turtle, was found walking near our school parking lot. Thomas was very much loved here at Houston. He died suddenly this past school year.
